Inside Devin: The AI engineer that's set to write 50% of its company’s code this year | Scott Wu
Scott Wu, CEO of Cognition, discusses Devin, the world's first autonomous AI software engineer that works like a remote junior engineer through integrations with Slack, GitHub, and Linear. Wu shares how their 15-person engineering team uses Devin for 25% of their pull requests (expecting 50%+ by year-end), explains the shift from human 'bricklayers' to 'architects' who direct AI agents, and explores how AI will transform software engineering by enabling massive productivity gains while creating more programming jobs overall.
